election 2008

I would like to know why our childern did not dicuss the election in class on Wed. ?

Personally I feel the children should have been having discussions at great lengths about this election for many of reasons but it seems our children have to learn certain things at home, outside of school. Maybe we as parents expect more from schools these days because of the things "we" learned in school, not at home. No matter what we say or do, it seems the education system period has had a major break down.
