~ PARENT MEETING ~

Hi All...
Well, this place has really picked up this week and I keep seeing posts suggesting a parents meeting so how bout we everyone that wants to do this, post a reply to this announcement with next weeks days and times you are available and we can conduct our first meeting right on here, together from the homepage of this website in the "Chat Box" That way we are all together...
I propose between 9a-11a or anytime after 8pm so kids are in bed and it's quiet around here? You all let me know what's good for you.

For me it would have to be Wed after 8. With the holiday it's going to be a little crazy.
Art class is still on for Wed after school as well.

I agree that the best time of day is after 8p.m. and the kids are in bed. Wed. would work for me.

Hey im new to this and i can't be leave some of the stuff I've been reading OMG is i have a son in IEP and well i guess I'm blind to some of the things happening yes i want to be involved in this parent meeting

Your not blind, you just have to learn to be very observant and listen to parents around you who have a lot to say but no one to listen... Well NOT ANYMORE

A parents meeting should happen. Lets make sure that the topics of concern are identified before hand so it is productive and does not turn into a cripe session. It seems that overall the teachers are well liked, appreciated and respected, so lets recognize them for that. My child has had great teachers at WP! It also seems that the center of all of the problems revolve around the office staff! SV is not effective in anything of parents concern at the school. A timely chat meeting looks like something to do right away! I suggest a list of issues that can be verified, documented, and sent to both SV and the management company that manages WP. That is Imagine Schools. I don't know about you but I have had enough of the office rudeness, talking down to parents and children, changing stories and how other employees are treated, especially some of the teachers! The actions of a couple overshadow the wonderful atmosphere that we have and should be enjoying.
